mesoxeric to mesic, from the forest-steppe to upper nemoral belt (here only on calcareous rocks)

Central European-Ponctic

Festucetalia valesiacae, Arrhenatheretalia, Geranion sanguinei, Jurineo-Euphorbinenion, Aceri-Quercion

R34 habitats, from the meadow-steppe grasslands in the forest-steppe up to the calcareous massifs in the upper nemoral belt

 

 

Probably the most beautiful bearded Iris in our flora.
